You are who you are for a reason
You're part of an intricate plan
You're a precious and unique design
called God's special woman or man

You look like you look for a reason
Our god made no mistake
He knit you together within the womb
you're just what he wanted to make

The parents you had were the ones He chose
and no matter how you may feel
they were custom-designed with God's plan in mind
and they bear the master's seal

No, that trauma you faced was not easy
and God wept that it hurt you so
but it was allowed to shape your heart
so that into this likeness you'd grow

you've been formed by the master's rod

because there is a God

in life we meet many different people
short ones fat ones black ones and sometimes funny looking ones
i found a silly looking one 1 year ago

words alone cannot fully express
everything that we had went through

im a little teary eyed even as i type this
and listen to "thats what friends are for"

the long 157 bus rides home
the coke float and fries sharing
the msn chats

the late into the night phone calls
the wujia and wojia joke
my ruined by your mom hair

the heart to heart talks
the thrashed it all out sessions
every little thing

im one happy happy woman
He had given me so much
cant ask for more

keep smiling
keep shining
knowing you can count on me for sure

but its true.
