gladwin and me at the chalet

me and wendy, the background was caused by gladwin, wilson and wei qiang throwing the balloons around

me and ting (:

i love the heart balloon !

had mock CG today at riverwalk today. it was soooooo funny, yet because of this, it taught me so many things. like how im speaking toooooo fast and the different mistakes that sister agnes pointed out to us.

then after that cabbed down to Changi Fairy Point chalet with steph and GJ. played games with all of them. played blind mice and murderer and all. the sight of the guys and little wendy's head all wrapped up with the towel was enough to make me laugh non-stop. pictures and videos will be up after GJ sent them to me.

and so.. something really awesome happened when we (read, steph, ravi and me) were about to go home. it was like.. God decided to send an angel down from heaven to provide for us.

while walking out of the chalet, we were just thinking, how good will it be if we dont have to walk this loooooong stretch of road out just to hail a cab. and thereafter, i saw this michael lookalike guy in a pick up. he looked at me and being a REALLLY friendly person, i smiled at him and walked away, still thinking about how good it will be if i own a license so i can drive my dad's car, or better yet, own a car myself !

and THAT guy, yup, the one i smiled to, began to start his pick up and was about to leave. somehow or rather, i just got the feeling that he will stop and ask if we need a ride. and true enough, that was exactly what happened !

his pick up began to slow down.. and it stopped just in front of us, he started pointing towards the exit, and you should see the glee and excitement on the faces of the three of us. not that we are lazy, just that the road is REALLY long and we are reallly tired.

so he asked steph where are we heading to and we told him home, okay. so it was great that someone, in fact, a total stranger offered to give the three of us a ride out to Pasir Ris mrt station, but thats not all ! he told us that he's heading towards yishun and he wouldnt mind sending us back to Yio Chu Kang station. it's amazing i tell you. Changi allllll the way to YCK.

and to be honest, our pockets are rather empty, did i mention that ive spent almost 30 bucks just on cabs alone this week. it's mind blowing how God will provide just exactly and even exceed what you need. all i prayed for was just a ride to the nearest mrt station, but we got a ride to YCK instead and we saved about 20bucks because of that. alighted and was able to catch the second last train home with steph. (: it's truly a God sent.

not just that, on saturday itself. because we were late for CGM, i decided to call for a cab. and the cab driver lost his way, which caused the total fare to come up to about 15 bucks, and it was only from bedok to east coast ! however, what came to me as a surprise was that he charged me 3 bucks less for the fare in the end. i believe even as we are sowing into the kingdom of God, He will never shortchange us. the two incidents that ive mentioned above only caused me to trust and have more faith in God. (:

He is truly my Provider

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOVE !
