-thanksgiving.-

it was really a long weekend for most of us
with the weekends, monday and tuesday spent in church
which was really fun if you ask me
a round of applause to all who brought their friends for the services because it takes real courage and boldness to do so
so give yourself a pat on the back
for those who didnt, dont give up ! YOU can do it (:


we, namely shing, ting, clem, joel, aaron, samuel and a few others spent our friday night cleaning up a harmless looking inflatable
took us hours to clean it up because it was reallly reallly dirty
but it was fun !




not forgetting Damien who made my day better by..


and of course Joel, who walked round the hall with me in search of.. you know what.


christmas was spent celebrating with my whole family
i really think this year is very special because it is the first year that my whole family came over and had dinner together
i dont come from a very close knited family, so family gatherings are not often, in fact, the only time i saw my extended family are during New Year and funerals
so im really glad for the time spent together
its just a simple dinner but it meant so much to me
this Christmas really show me how much God had and is still blessing me

i thank God for
the friendships i found in church
the christmas presents i've received from my aunt and uncle (this is the first time in my 19years that they bought me a present)
the cards from my friends
the 50 dollar note my uncle slipped into my hands
the opportunity to start over again and to lead games
the bond and unity formed in my family
Him sending His beloved Son to die for me




thanksgiving today was awesome
from the praise to worship to award giving all the way to the cleaning up of the house was fantastic !
seeing the shock on my members' faces when they were being nominated, their joy and glee when they won the award is priceless
like what Jerb said, im really glad we made it through 2007.
its been a year of ups and downs for myself but ive learned so so so much
that i will save for the next post
in the meantime, i'll let the pictures do the talking..
